My name is Karim Fatkhutdinov, and I am currently finishing up my third year at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, studying Production Design for Film. I have worked on numerous creative projects, gaining experience in set design (hand-drafting and CAD), digital modeling and rendering, carpentry, set decoration, scenic painting, and prop fabrication. In the summer of 2024, I was accepted into the DREAMERs Internship Program at Tyler Perry Studios, where I worked in the in-house Graphics, Design, and Manufacturing department and in the Art Department on Season 5 of Young Dylan, streaming on Nickelodeon.

Before coming to the US to pursue a career in entertainment, I grew up in South China's Greater Bay Area. My experiences fueled a long-time passion for urban planning and how environments define people's lives. I now seek to use what I've learned to connect with more people while pushing my creative limits.
