Central Park

With funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, The Friends of Central Park have been able to bring together a wide variety of sources that tell the history of the park from ancient farmland to the present time. There have been many changes in the way the land has been used but people have always been at the heart of it .

I have been involved with the Timeline Project since Sept 2019 and was excited to see the interpretation panels being installed in 2021 which showcased the research that had been undertaken and the audio history I was involved in made accessible by a QR code being included on the panel for the Soundcloud.
