8th Grade US History

I am Mrs. Rummler. I have been teaching in Burlington for 27 years! I have a passion for history and love sharing it with my students. I believe that it is crucial for students to know the history of this great nation - both the good and the ugly bits. We learn from our triumphs and our errors, so I encourage my students to delve deeply into each unit we study. Through numerous simulations and projects, students step into the shoes of those that have walked before us and envision the individuals and events as we study them.

I live here in Burlington with my husband, three children, and one very hairy golden retriever. I love to hike, bike, and curl up with a good book! I am excited for this school year and look forward to the adventures ahead.
