Utkarsh joined the University of Wyoming in August 2023 where he addresses challenges in computational biomolecular and materials research. Previously, he was a postdoctoral researcher at Texas A&M University with Jeetain Mittal and at University of Delaware with Arthi Jayaraman. Before that, he earned his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Oklahoma State University under Jindal Shah. Prior to joining graduate school, he worked as a Process Engineer at Grasim Industries Ltd., India, and earned his Bachelors in Chemical Engineering from BITS-Pilani, India.

Outside of research and teaching, Utkarsh is a nature enthusiast, and loves cooking Indian food, exploring diverse food cultures, and listening to music.
