MAKA ADYA KA, KAYABE? EPISODE 3: Building Resilience and Enhancing Preparedness towards Safer and Stronger Communities

𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐧𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐇𝐚𝐳𝐚𝐫𝐝-𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚

The DILG Pampanga Provincial Office successfully conducted the third episode of 𝙈𝙖𝙠𝙖 𝘼𝙙𝙮𝙖 𝙆𝙖, 𝙆𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙗𝙚? on November 3 and 4, 2025, a capacity development activity that gathered barangay officials and functionaries from across the province to strengthen their capabilities in disaster preparedness and resilience.

The activity served as a platform for barangays to exchange best practices, explore digital tools, and gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of the DILG’s Operation Listo and other Disaster Protocols. It also underscored the importance of embracing technology and utilizing modern tools to help barangays craft more effective plans and preparedness measures, all of which may be accessed through the SIKAP-Barangay Hub Website. By promoting digital readiness, data-driven decision-making, and using a more science-based approach, the initiative aims to ensure that local leaders are well-equipped to respond swiftly and strategically to the needs of their communities.

MAKA ADYA KA, KAYABE?

Ngayong panahon ng tag-ulan, pinaigting ng DILG ang panawagan sa lahat ng mga lokal na pamahalaan na maging mas handa laban sa bagyo, pagbaha, at iba pang sakuna—lalo na ang mga nasa coastal LGUs ng Pampanga na nasa mas mataas na panganib dahil sa lokasyon.

PAGLULUNSAD NG CRTS SURVEY, ISINAGAWA SA MINALIN

Matagumpay na naisagawa ang Community Resilience and Transformability Scorecard Survey sa mga piling barangay ng Minalin, Pampanga sa pangunguna ng PSTO Pampanga, katuwang ang Mabalacat City College at Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office ng Bayan ng Minalin.
