Name
As part of its branding, the Pampanga Sub-LGRRC will be called ‘Ing Kulitan’, inspired by the Kapampangan culture. Kulitan, an indigenous writing system also known as Súlat Kapampángan, was used to write the Kapampangan language, spoken in Pampanga and neighboring areas.

The official mascots of the DILG Pampanga, Kay and Abe, together form Kayabe—a playful yet meaningful name that translates to "Comrade" or "Fellow." This name symbolizes the partnership, collaboration, and unity needed in fostering good governance and community engagement.
