概要：I will talk about basics of perturbative string theory, i.e., how basic principles of gravity and quantum mechanics lead to quantum string theory as a candidate theory of quantum gravity in our world. Nothing is new.

概要：Higgs physics gives an important tool to find new physics beyond the Standard Model. I will explain how we can extract information of new physics from the Higgs phenomenology : direct and indirect searches.
