Marketing Officer for 2023-24. I am involved in organizing the SERIS Program - an annual conference at Stanford in which we invite top undergrads from all over the US, who are interested in research and grad school, but may not have the necessary resources and mentorship to pursue the same. I am also involved in mentoring undergrads at Stanford (in Mechanical Engineering) who are thinking about pursuing a Master's or PhD.

ISHRAE BITS Pilani Student Chapter was set up in November 2019, under the guidance of Dr Suvanjan Bhattacharyya, with the aim of keeping a network between students and professionals in the HVAC&R industry of India.
As the President of this student chapter, I am in charge of leading a team of members, in coordination with our Faculty-in-Charge and ISHRAE, in organising and coordinating various activities and project proposals.
Under the leadership of Dept. of Mechanical Engineering at BITS Pilani, we organised a 5-day International Workshop on Recent Advances in Thermal Engineering (IWRATE 2020), from June 29 to July 3. Faculties and Professionals from India, USA, Germany, South Africa, and Portugal shared their experiences in online mode. 300+ students and professionals all over India and abroad took part in it.
Being just less than one year old, we became the largest student chapter affiliated in Rajasthan.
Prepared 8 project abstract proposals for Student Research Project Grants and other competitions.
Organised an Online Treasure Hunt competition in Jan 2021, with the theme of 'Riddles based on Tech Advances'. Nearly 300 students from all over India participated.
Organised ISHRAE IceBox Challenge during APOGEE (March 2021), BITS Pilani's technical festival, on solving problem statements regarding green buildings and HVAC.
In the summer of 2019, I teamed up with some of my batchmates to work on a new startup, which we called "Chapter". Initially, we planned on making it a hub for budding artistes to avail opportunities nearby for live performances. Our aim was to bridge the gap between the new and the talented, with the help of restaurants, corporate events, wedding halls, and others who would want to avail the services of talented new artistes at a lower price.
As a Co-Founder, my role was to build and strategise a business plan, prepare models, pitch in front of mentors and investors, and handle the overall user experience of the app.
With this idea, we were runners-up in a 3-day pitching and prototyping competition "Desert Hackathon", receiving a cash prize of INR 25,000.
We went on to win a national leadership competition "Ode to the Leaders", and were invited as delegates to the ISB Leadership Summit 2019 at Indian School of Business, Mohali.
We organised an event in Oasis 2019, a cultural festival, and invited some of our budding artistes to perform in front of hundreds of people.
We had received an incubation and seed fund offer from PIEDS, at a valuation of more than INR 1 crore.
However, with the advent of Covid, we changed our business model, to help the opportunity providers (restaurants) live through the crippling cash deficits by developing an app for contactless ordering. Our incubation offer was rescinded, but with our new BPlan, we were recognised by Startup India and we went on to be the top 50 startups in Conquest - a pan-India BPlan competition. Personally, I got selected for International Entrepreneurship Summer School, TU Braunschweig, Germany - among 60 other selected students and professionals from all over the world, based on my profile and startup idea.
We were not able to scale up, so we decided to dissolve the startup in April 2021. However, the learning experience of being a part of a failed startup is everlasting.
