My research interests include evolution, systematics, ethology, and ecology of insects; particularly in darkling beetles (Coleoptera: Tenebrionidae). I completed my Master's at Purdue University (Indiana, USA) focusing on revising the Neotropical genus Phrenapates Gray,1832 and doing a preliminary study into the systematics of the subfamily Phrenapatinae. My doctoral thesis is entitled: “Phylogenomic and morphological revision of the tribe Opatrini (Coleoptera: Tenebrionidae)”. I aim to, with Prof. Kamiński, investigate the genomics, morphology, and evolutionary history of the genera within the blaptine tribe Opatrini. My work is support by the National Science Center, Poland (OPUS-29 #2025/57/B/NZ8/03028) under the project: "Surviving the Desert: Phylogenomics and Evolution of Arid-Adapted Darkling Beetles (Tenebrionidae: Blaptinae)."
