Ever since our family learned that Kamila inherited beta thalassemia and would need to be transfusion dependent for the rest of her life, her parents have done everything they can to advocate for their family, friends, and community to donate blood. They have also helped raise awareness through Care Walks and hosted mobile blood drives throughout the county.
