I am interested in how fish and humans affect each other. People have been interacting with fish in many ways for a long time. This includes hunting, fishing, breeding, eating, observing, admiring, and changing the aquatic environment. These activities have had a negative and positive impact on fish populations and ecosystems around the world. I want to understand this complex relationship, recognise the threats that fish face, understand human needs and desires, and work towards effective conservation strategies. In this way, I strive to protect fish species and ensure a sustainable future for fish and people.
