Curicula vitae

I am interested in the interactions between fish and humans. People have engaged with fish in many ways over a long period, including hunting, fishing, aquaculture, consumption, observation, appreciation, and modification of aquatic environments. These activities have had both positive and negative impacts on fish populations and ecosystems worldwide.

My aim is to better understand this complex relationship, identify the threats facing fish, and consider human needs and motivations. Based on this understanding, I seek to contribute to effective conservation strategies that protect fish species and support a sustainable future for human–fish interactions.
