• Worked as a researcher in lightweight composite and metallic structures, structural reliability and integrity analysis, online monitoring (SHM) on automotive and aerospace systems-level components, and nonintrusive detection techniques (NDT).

• Successfully involved in two major EU, NCN-funded projects (SONATA BIS & OPUS) related to structural diagnosis and prognostic analysis. Involved in lead research, project coordination, and delivery.

• Executed validation tests, identifies problems via root cause analysis, and defines possible measures. Evaluates test results, gather data and validate with FEM simulations.

• Extensive validation work in areas of damage imaging and reliability analysis using piezoelectric sensors, Lasers, Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) sensors, and verification with NDT methods. Developed data signal processing algorithms for defect identification, localization, life cycle assessment and prognosis techniques after structural repair processes, parametrization, and quantification.
