Kaixo USA is a month-long English immersive experience for teenagers from the Basque Country, Spain. It begins with a visit to an iconic American city before traveling to the Midwest to live with a host family. With host families, students will enjoy an authentic American experience, build life-long relationships, and make unforgettable summer memories!

These sessions are a great opportunity to learn more about what our program includes, meet us, and ask any questions you may have. Attending a Zoom meeting does not at all commit you to hosting in any way!

Kaixo USA History

In 2015, Ramón and Cindy Garcia moved with their three young boys from Indiana to Basque Country, Spain. There they created a summer exchange program for students to stay with host families in Indiana.

This program was created to offer students an opportunity to have an authentic American experience, while improving their English and spending time with host families and new friends. Learning English and speaking it correctly is a priority so parents seek out courses such as this for their children. This creates a unique cross-cultural opportunity for families in the USA and Basque students!
