Kainan Wang (王凯南) is Professor of Finance, Department Chair, and Neff Research Fellow in the Neff Department of Finance at the University of Toledo. He teaches at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
Kainan's research primarily focuses on econometrics and investments. His current work explores the trading implications of informed market participants such as institutional investors, insiders, short sellers, and options traders.
Kainan received his Ph.D. in finance from Washington State University. He also has a master's degree in biochemistry from McGill University and a bachelor's degree in biology from Shandong University.
