My approach to teaching will enable me to learn as much from my students as they do from me. I am and always will be creative and develop learning environments that will help my students synthesize and apply key course concepts.
Power Electronics
Advance Power Electronics
Renewable Energy Systems
Electrical Machines & Electric Drives
Elements of Electrical Engineering
All these above courses are completely research-oriented. In the field of Electrical Engineering, most recent research is focused on development of sustainable technologies for Smart grids, Microgrids and Electric Vehicles. To carry out research and development on this area requires a thorough understanding of the above-mentioned fundamental and advanced courses. Through the Power Electronics/Drives course, students will be able to understand the operating principle and applications of various power electronic converters and different PWM control schemes. At the same time, small-scale prototype of the converters with low-cost controllers can be devised at the laboratory, which will engross the UG students to develop a quality project in the final year.
