Chair
Teresa is the representative for Waihapa Marae. After a 12-year career working internationally with Citibank (during which time she rose from Service Assistant to Vice President), she is now putting those experiences and decades of community and corporate governance back into her people.
Teresa was the CEO of Te Rūnanga-a-Iwi o Ngāpuhi from 2004 – 2011. Today she is CEO of Māori Women’s Development Incorporated – an inspirational and incredibly well-resourced organisation that provides loans and wrap-around support for Wāhine Māori in business, and their whānau.
Deputy Chair
Norm has led small, medium, and large sales and marketing organisations in New Zealand (NZ) and the United Kingdom (UK). He has excellent skills in governance and leadership in finance, sales, and marketing at Senior Management levels in NZ and the UK, and is experienced with the private, public, and not-for-profit enterprise. Norm represents Waitāruke Marae.
Trustee
Sandra was previously a Senior Consultant with ACC for over twenty years. Since 2015, Sandra has taken up an exclusive role as a consultant, particularly for Māori communities and organisation's in Te Tai Tokerau, advising on resource management issues and working with DOC. Sandra lives in the rohe in Taemāro, and represents Taemāro Marae.
Trustee
Roger has a background as a builder, is Chair of Karangahape Marae (Whangaroa), and Regional Coordinator for Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi. Roger was one of the initial trustees of Kahukuraariki Trust and before that the Ngātikahu ki Whangaroa Trust. Roger lives in the rohe, at Waihapa, and represents Te Kōmanga Marae.

Glendith has worked in health advisory and support, across many fields, including smoking cessation and heart health services. She has worked for many years with the health services of Ngāti Whātua ki Kaipara. Glendith represents Waimahana Marae.
Trustee
Makere is a Professional Learning and Development (PLD) Māori Medium Facilitator. She delivers Te Reo Matatini, Aromatawai, Hangarau Matihiko, and Te Mārautanga o Aotearoa. Makere specialises in initiatives to support professional learning and development Māori-medium education at local and national levels. Makere has been in the education field for over 30 years as a teacher, principal, and now facilitator. Makere represents Ōtangaroa Marae.
