We will be hosting staff from Heritage NZ Pouhere-Tangata (HNZPT) at Otangaroa marae this Tuesday 6th April from 6pm onwards.
If you have any questions about the application to register Taratara and the area immediately surrounding (see attached map), to be recognized by legislation as a waahi tupuna, please feel free to come along.
All landowners and shareholders who have up-to-date addresses with MLC should have received letters from HNZPT by now, as well as a draft report outlining the reasons for this application.
If you have not received these, or would like a copy, please send an email request to whangaroapapahapu@gmail.com.
Copies will also be available on the 6th April.
