Chad kirsten, architect

After this interview I have come to the conclusion that I do not want to be an architect and I will never be an architect or even consider it because you have to sit on a computer all day from 9 to 5 and it just seems really boring and was not at all what I thought it would be. I’m am reconsidering my job option because the architect said that you have to go through at least 8 years of school just to be able to officially become an architect. The guy also explained how they have to work with electricians, plumbers, and welders, but he is the one that has to coordinate with all of them to make sure they all know what their doing and when they are doing it. He has to lay out all the plans on a giant blueprint looking thing and then make copy’s of them to send out to each group to show where the plumbing needs to be or were they need to put up the lights at or even to show where the stair way for a hotel has to be and what way they have to build it. They also have to consider the safety aspects of the project and make sure the building has safe exits point and show where people would go to leave the building safely.
