SAT Registration
Create an account on the College Board website: Go to https://www.collegeboard.org/ and click on "Create Account." Fill in your personal information, including your name, email address, and date of birth.
Choose a test date and location: Once you have created an account, you can log in and select a test date and location that works for you. The SAT is usually offered several times throughout the year at various testing centers.
Pay the registration fee: You will need to pay a fee to register for the SAT. The fee varies depending on where you live and whether or not you choose to take the optional essay portion of the test. Fee waivers are available for eligible students.
Upload a photo: You will need to upload a photo of yourself that meets the College Board's requirements. This photo will be printed on your admission ticket.
Review your registration: Before submitting your registration, review it carefully to make sure all of the information is correct.
Submit your registration: Once you have completed all of the steps, submit your registration and wait for your admission ticket to arrive in the mail.
*Note that some high schools may offer the SAT on campus and handle the registration process for their students, so it's worth checking with your school's guidance office to see if this is an option.*
PSAT Registration
Check With Your School: The PSAT is typically administered at schools, so check with your school's guidance office to find out if they are offering the test and how to register.
Fill Out Registration Form: If your school is offering the PSAT, you will need to fill out a registration form provided by the school. Make sure to provide all required information, including your name, grade level, and contact information.
Pay the Registration Fee: There is a fee to take the PSAT, which varies depending on the school and location. Check with your school to find out how much the fee is and how to pay.
Attend Pre-Test Sessions: Your school may offer pre-test sessions to help you prepare for the PSAT. Attend these sessions if they are available to you. Check out our tutoring page for further assistance.
Take the PSAT: On the day of the test, make sure to arrive on time and bring all required materials, such as a photo ID and pencils.
Receive scores: After you take the PSAT, you will receive a score report. Use this report to identify areas where you can improve your skills before taking the SAT.
*Note that some high schools may offer the PSAT to homeschooled students or students who are not enrolled in their school. If you are not enrolled in a school that offers the PSAT, you can contact your local school district to find out if there are any other options available to you.*
ACT Registration
Create an Account on the ACT Website: Go to www.act.org and click on "Register for the ACT". It will take you to a new window and ask you to sign in or create a MyACT account.
