Kaczara Farm Becalmed Bonnita, my first

Kaczara Farm Becalmed Bonita  or "Bonnie" was my sweet, loving  premier breeding mom. She recently was tragically hit on the road in April 2014. IT was devastating, at not quite 8 yrs old and still very active.  I miss her terribly but her lovely pups live on.  I waited till she was 4 yrs old, hips and elbows  OFA certified, and I knew of her behavior and temperament prior to breeding and selecting a proper sire. She is about 23" tall and 75# with a reddish golden color, which  lightens in summer.  Prematurely Grey around her face,  she will have a white face soon!. Her first litter  of 8 pups was a success and all placed in loving homes (see pictures later) She romps with Beau and our new Maehlie,  and is a wonderful mother. She loves to retrieve and be petted. Her 2nd litter at 6 yrs old, is wonderful and 12! She is taking care of them well, with a little help.

 Her 2nd litter at age 6 to Beau was 12! and she did great ( I helped a little with goats milk!) all doing great.

*Bonnie's 3rd and last litter was to Beau again with 11! Wow what a champion she is!  We have figured out  how to minimize the hair coat blowing and now is doing great and again supplementing a little with goats milk!  She will retire now and go back to being  a pet and the head dam out here!  I  purchased Dancer ,  another female pup to grow and replace her (so to speak)  summer in  2013. look for more photos to come. She has earned her retirement!
