Biography

I hold a PhD in Nanophysics from the French Authority of Atomic Energy (CEA) and the University of Grenoble Alpes (Joseph Fourier) in France (2010). I have been a research associate at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zürich at the Chair of Nanotechnology between 2010 and 2013. I then worked as an applications scientist at Bruker Nano-Surfaces (Leading manufacturer of Atomic Force Microscopes and surface characterization techniques) based in the UK between 2013 and 2016. I was responsible for all research and industrial applications in the United Kingdom, Ireland, northern Europe region and the middle-east. Since 2017, I have been serving as an adjunct assistant professor of physics at the Lebanese University. I started the K2nano research group within the Laboratory of Physics and Modeling (LPM) at the doctoral school of sciences and technology (EDST). I currently serve as an adjunct fellow researcher at the electrical nano metrology group at the french national laboratory of standards. I cumulate over 15 years of experience in Atomic Force Microscopy techniques. My main fields of interest are in Nanoelectrical and Nanomechnical techniques for surface characterization with a focus on two- and low- dimensional materials.
