Washington Schools Need Teacher Librarians

Library Inequity in WA Schools

We must close the loophole in WA Law 28A.320.240 to give all Washington students equal educational opportunities.

Despite research showing that strong school libraries are most important for at-risk students, Washington's library deserts mean many at-risk students do not have access to strong library programs staffed by Teacher Librarians.

Equitable access to resources and qualified staff ensures a strong future for our children and our state.
