We strongly believe that the state legislature in Washingon must fully fund education, including strong library programs.
We ask that the legislature increase funding and requirements for qualified Teacher-Librarians in schools. We also ask for a position at OSPI for the oversight and support of quality school library programs, and for school library program reporting to be part of the basic education matrix of the Washington State School Board.
