K-12 Theater Arts
Mr. Inglis and I are so excited to announce that the musical for 2025 will be "Alice in Wonderland" for Monday Classes & "Into the Woods" for Tuesday Classes!
About me
I grew up in a small town in Texas. Every once in a while you can hear my accent when I speak. I went to college at the University of Colorado where I played basketball and majored in History. I spent 3 semesters as a Theatre Major at CU Boulder. But with the time I was committing to basketball, I couldn't commit to completing my degree with a major focusing on the stage. That is when I changed majors because history and studying groups of people have always fascinated me.
After graduating, I went to Celje, Slovenia to continue my basketball career. After one season, I was let out of my contract and knew I was ready to get married and move onto the next stage of my life.
I married my husband, Travis, in 2010. I began coaching high school basketball and track. Then, in 2011, our first miracle arrived in our lives, and I enjoyed being a stay at home wife and mom. In 2013, our second child was born. I continued being a stay at home mom and assistant coaching girls' high school basketball and boys' and girls' middle school basketball and track teams.
In 2019, I decided to continue my education and became a middle school math teacher. During the 2020-2021 school year, I taught Sixth Grade Math and Sixth Grade Earth Science. Then, our family made one of the best decisions and started our homeschool adventure for the 2021-2022.
We loved Options so much, we wanted to become part of the community even more. Now, I'm teaching k-12 Theater and Sewing, and our kids are so excited for their new adventures at Greeley Options!
In our spare time, my family loves attending the theatre. Whether it's in Denver, New York City or a children's production, we will watch it ALL. My husband's favorite musical is Phantom of the Opera. At this time, my favorite musical is SIX the Musical, but you can always hear me belt out some Wicked or Rent song lyrics.
