Welcome to my personal website. I am an Associate Professor of the Decision Sciences Area at the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow (IIM-L). I have a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from the Texas A & M University, College Station, Texas (USA). My research area is emergency / humanitarian logistics. Methodology-wise I use large-scale optimization techniques for mixed-integer programming problems.

For potential research associates/students: My research requires extensive programming and sound knowledge of optimization techniques. Excellent programming ability is a must in some high level language such as Java, C++. I use CPLEX solver to solve mixed integer programming models. Also, I use GIS packages for visualization.
