His current work focuses on deciphering the role of G-quadruplex-forming mitochondrial damage-associated lncRNAs in sepsis-induced macrophage reprogramming, particularly their involvement in mitophagy, metabolic reprogramming, macrophage polarization, and inflammation, and exploring potential therapeutic strategies targeting these pathways.
