JYOTHSNA G. HARITHSA

Hi, everyone! Welcome to my website! 

I am an Assistant Professor of Finance at the State University of New York at Geneseo. I love the balance of teaching and research that my role provides. 

I obtained my Ph.D. in Finance (2023) and my M.S. in Quantitative Finance and Risk Analytics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (2016). Before my time at RPI, I obtained my B. Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Karnataka (2014). 

I am interested in a broad range of topics for research. My dissertation focused on the impact of financial regulation on financial intermediary performance. I have studied their impact on tax planning, organizational culture, and the quality of financial reporting. My research interests are listed below.
