JYOTHSNA G. HARITHSA

Welcome to my website. I am an Assistant Professor of Finance at the State University of New York at Geneseo. 

I obtained my Ph.D. in Finance (2023) and my M.S. in Quantitative Finance and Risk Analytics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (2016). Prior to my time at RPI, I obtained my B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Karnataka (2014). 

I primarily focus on the impact of financial regulation on  financial intermediary performance. My work so far has spanned regulatory impacts on misconduct in financial advisories, tax planning in, and reporting standards in financial intermediaries. My research interests are listed below.
