I have always loved the ocean.

When I was born, Splash! with Darryl Hannah and Tom Hanks was playing in the delivery room. I would read any book I could about mermaids. I would read about all the different mermaid myths from around the world, before finally settling on Yemaja as my favorite.

When I was 10 years old, I realized there were people in LA and Florida who were professionals, and I wanted to get in on it. I sent an email to the man who would go on to be my mentor, asking for a costume. He said no, but he also said, "don't give up. Check back when you're older." I didn't give up, and now I'm the Prince Of Mermen in the Atlantic.

I've been involved with the MerCommunity since I was 15. I was there when MerYuku was built, before MerNetwork became the resource it is today. I got my first tail in 2008, my first latex tail in 2012, and my first silicone tail in 2016. I did my first swimming party gig in 2009. I've been a professional for almost 8 years now. I was trained by Mermaid Lanai (The New York Mermaid), and I have supported and trained many other Mers.

In 2015, I published my first children's book, "The Neptune Brothers". This book is the start to a series, called One Tail At A Time, and is centered around tiny merfolk that live inside the Aquarium at the Berkshire Museum in Pittsfield, MA. Each story has it's own message, but they also have broken a few records. This series is responsible for quadrupling the number of merfolk of color in children's literature. The New Girl features the first Hindu mermaid to appear in children's literature. The Wave Dancer will feature the first Muslim mermaid in Children's lit, the first Married Gay Mermen in children's lit, as well as the first LGBT interracial mermaid relationship in Children's lit. I want every child to know that they can be whatever they dream of being, so long as they put in the effort.

I specialize in speaking engagements, book readings and signings, facepainting and birthday parties for children. I am officially partnered with Mermaid Sasha of New England Mermaids as well as Mermaid Lanai of New York Mermaids to help deliver the best party experiences. With notice (and a possible travel fee) I can appear at any party in New England (MA, NY, RI, CT, NH, VT, ME). I have a pod of professionally trained mermaids that I collaborate with if need be.
