About Me

Hello all! My name is JV Hampton-VanSant. I am 26 years old. I am a Black American. I identify as gay, bigender and male. I use male pronouns (unless otherwise specified).

I do a lot of things. At my core, I am an educator, a professional merman, a writer, an actor, a (new) cosplayer, and a costume designer.

I love superheroes, movies, podcasts, art and music. I love to make things. I love to write things. I love to become new, different things, changing myself to match my spirit everyday. I love archery, the circus arts, hooping and pretending I can sing. I also super love potatoes and cheese, but that might be because I'm human. Er, mostly human.

I have, to this day, acted in 2 productions and worked on costumes for 1. I taught myself how to sew (with the help of a great friend) in 2008, and since then, I've been making things.
