About
Greetings! I am Juvair Hossan, a recent graduate of the Bachelor of Environmental Science program at Khulna University, Bangladesh. My academic background has instilled in me a profound interest in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Remote Sensing (RS). My professional journey includes collaborations with reputable organizations such as CEGIS, EMEC, and CLEAN. I'm also actively engaged as a researcher with ESRI, contributing significantly to various research articles.
My fervor lies in the realm of geospatial data sciences, where I am dedicated to augmenting the interface between individuals and spatial attributes. My involvements span diverse scales, ranging from contributing to the SDGs to participating in initiatives addressing environmental and climate change concerns.
My research interests lie at the intersection of Geo-informatics, Spatial Epidemiology, Spatial Ecology, and Natural Resources Management. I am passionate about leveraging geospatial technologies and data-driven approaches to understand spatial patterns and processes in both natural and human systems. In Spatial Epidemiology, I focus on analyzing the geographic distribution of diseases and identifying environmental and socio-economic factors that influence health outcomes. My work in Spatial Ecology involves mapping and modeling ecosystems to support biodiversity conservation and habitat management. Additionally, I am dedicated to sustainable Natural Resources Management, using GIS and remote sensing to monitor and optimize the use of land, water, and other critical resources for long-term ecological and societal benefits.
