She is the creator of the Justice-Involved Red Ribbon Week Initiative, a national educational campaign designed to address the gap in substance use prevention resources for justice-involved populations. Ranee has published nationally on correctional nursing, secondary trauma, and the care of justice-involved individuals, and is committed to advancing evidence-informed mental health care, recovery, and public health education within correctional settings.
