I reside in the Trenton, New Jersey area and am an active composer whose work has been commissioned and performed regularly throughout the country. I am also a Professor of Music Composition and Theory at Mercer County Community College and a former Adjunct Professor of Music at The College of New Jersey and Bergen Community College. I hold a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Music Composition (Temple University, 2005), a Master of Arts degree in Music Composition and Theory (Montclair State University, 1986), and a Bachelor of Music in Composition with minors in Music Theory and Piano (University of North Texas, 1983).
I provide instruction and tutoring for beginning- to advanced-level students in the following subject areas:

Beginning and Intermediate Piano instruction for students 8 and up.
I am also fluent in the overall use of music publishing/composition software on both the Mac and PC, with specializations in Sibelius and Finale.
In addition, I also tutor/teach general math, pre-algebra, general computer and MS Office/MS Windows applications along with Mac applications, and COBOL, Assembler, and Visual Basic programming languages.
My rates are reasonable and are based on the level of instruction required and the distance to your location.
