Homework answers are not provided so that girls cannot come onto this page and copy the answers (girls need to be able to earn the journeys fairly and understand the material, and they cannot do this by copying). Because of this, I advise all leaders to watch the videos, watch the extra videos, and do the extra activities so they have a sense of what girls will be doing in the journies. From there, leaders will know the answers to the questions on the homework (instead of just guessing and trying to remember things), and can then properly access a scout's understanding of the material through the homework.
For your convenience:
In the extra activities, there is nothing to 'grade' per se, unless you want to have them send a picture of their work to you to ensure that they have done it. Although it is STRONGLY SUGGESTED that the girls complete the extra activities, it is NOT REQUIRED in order to earn the journies. However, if girls are having problems with specific concepts that have an extra activity, it is advisable to recommend or even require the extra activity to be completed.
