A background guide is a reference paper containing general information and context on the topic of the committee. It helps prepare delegates for the committee.
A position paper is a paper that delegates write before participating in a conference. An average position paper is 3 paragraphs. The topic of each paragraph should be:
1) History of the topic
2) Your delegation's history of the topic
3) Possible solutions
Students will learn how to write a position paper during the camp and do not need to draft one before arrival!
