Although I love creating, when it comes to teaching, I'm a firm believer in iteration. Most of everything that I did with my students are cobbled from what I've seen/experienced before. I try to give credit where I can and feel free to take/copy do with it as you see fit. Reach out if you want hard copies. Sadly, after leaving my last organization, I stupidly forgot to copy over many of my folders. Oh well.

I started using Words Their Way but moved over to Chunk Spelling (mainly because the scissor business for WTW was a hot mess. For me, spelling instruction was never a huge priority, but it was an area I was supposed to be assessing. This method allowed for variation.
4th/5th graders used this template to record Book Talks on Screencastify.
