From 2020-21, I was a graduate resident at High Tech Middle Mesa supporting our Humanities Team and the 6th grade band (and you know I believe 6th graders could rule the world). This year was super insightful because not only did I get to see project-based learning in action, but I also got to observe the building of a new school (it was in its second year), the transition to a new CEO, and the birth of a new teacher's union.
Even though it is was mainly distance-learning (#COVID19), I did relocate to San Diego for the year. If you want to spend a social distanced life anywhere, San Diego is the place!
