8:30 AM – Orientation in Tena, then taxi + 2-hour guided jungle trek learning about medicinal plants and wildlife
Arrive at Kichwa community: prepare traditional chicha drink, learn basket weaving, discover ancestral medicine, join traditional dance, and make chocolate from scratch
Enjoy traditional Amazonian lunch with your host family, then paddle a dugout canoe downriver
Return to Tena by evening

Day 1:
5-hour guided trek through primary rainforest with birdwatching and plant identification
Arrive at remote Kichwa community, meet your host family, and settle in
Evening: participate in traditional shaman ritual OR night walk to observe nocturnal wildlife
Day 2:
Pre-dawn – Hike to clay lick and watch dozens of parrots feeding on minerals (stunning natural spectacle!)
Cultural activities: learn about medicinal plants, try traditional crafts, prepare chicha, and join chocolate-making workshop
Afternoon: pan for gold, fish and swim in the river
Canoe downriver and return to Tena by evening
