In Her Hands: China Edition is the first international expansion of my ongoing participatory storytelling project initiated in the UK.

Through a simple question — “If you could say one thing to yourself ten years ago, what would it be?” — the project invited 100 women from different cities, generations and life experiences across China to share personal reflections on growth, identity and memory.

Their responses were transformed into a collaborative artwork, creating a collective conversation between women across different backgrounds and generations.

The project explores how personal stories can become shared cultural experiences through participation, visual art and public engagement.
