To stimulate research on different topics and domains, I have been working on the organization of Workshops and Challenges at high impact conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, CVPR, ECCV, ICCV, WACV and FG). 

With a background in computer science / computer vision, my research interests are focused on:

• Visual Human Analysis

  • People/object/event detection, segmentation, tracking, monitoring, understanding.

  • Subjective bias and human perception analysis (e.g., age, gender or social bias, and their impact on data labeling).

  • First impressions and personality computing.

  • The intersection of social sciences and computer sciences.

• Trustworthy/Responsible Computer Vision

  • Ethics, privacy, fairness and bias mitigation methods

  • Explainability & interpretability
