NAF Internship 

During the summer of 2023, I was an intern at Gain Federal Credit Union, and I gained so many valuable lessons and learned what it was like to be in a work environment. In my time as an intern, I shadowed and helped different departments in the credit union, such as business development, marketing, call center, tellers, finance, loan department, IT, and support services. Throughout my experience in the credit union, I also worked on several projects with my coworker, such as creating a slideshow on the differences between a credit union and a bank and planning a ceremony for the winners of their Gaining Ground Scholarship. My coworker and I spent a couple of weeks deciding on the location, decoration, food, and games for the ceremony and just followed a certain budget that our bosses gave us to work with. I truly gained so many valuable skills as I now can put all this work towards my future and understand how to plan various sorts of projects.
