I am a tenure-track assistant professor at the University of Toronto. Before, I was a postdoc at the Max Planck Institute and demi-ATER at the Université Grenoble Alpes. I did my phD at the Université Paris Diderot under the supervision of Marc Hindry.
My research interest lies in arithmetic geometry, at the intersection of arithmetic statistics and Diophantine geometry. I am interested in elliptic surfaces, or families of elliptic curves, and various related objects like root number and del Pezzo surfaces. A few years ago, I was more on the analytic side of number theory, but I seem to have moved to algebraic geometry tools in order to understand the distribution of rational points. Whatever the technique or the field, my passion lies in arithmetic.
Last semester (Fall 2025), I was teaching Algebra I (Mat1100) for graduate students.
This semester (Winter 2026), I will be teaching History of Mathematics (Mat387) at the Mississauga campus. My office hour is 3-4 on Thursdays or online by demand.
My Cv, a research plan, a talk's slides
Random details about me: I am a member of the AMQ (Québec's mathematics association). I am partially supported by an NSERC Discovery grant. I am a proud Franco-Ontarienne, French and Québecoise. Ich kann auch Deutsch reden. Believe it or not, I am a novelist and a literary editor.
Prospective students: I am currently supervising 2 PhD students and 2 Master's students so I am unlikely to accept a new student before September 2026.
