I am a tenure-track assistant professor at University of Toronto Mississauga. Before coming to Toronto, I was a postdoc in the Max Planck Institute and demi-ATER at Université Grenoble Alpes. I did my phD at Université Paris Diderot under the supervision of Marc Hindry.
My research interest lies in arithmetic geometry, at the intersection of arithmetic statistics and Diophantine geometry. I am interested in elliptic surfaces, or families of elliptic curves, and various related objects like root number and del Pezzo surfaces. A few years ago, I was more on the analytic side of number theory, but I seem to have moved to algebraic geometry tools in order to understand the distribution of rational points. Whatever the technique or the field, my passion lies in arithmetic.
This semester (Fall 2025), I am teaching Algebra I (Mat1100). My office hour is 11-noon on Thursdays or online by demand.
Next semester (Winter 2026), I will be teaching History of Mathematics (Mat387).
