I am a tenure-track assistant professor at University of Toronto Mississauga. Before coming to Toronto, I was a postdoc in the Max Planck Institute and demi-ATER at Université Grenoble Alpes. I did my phD at Université Paris Diderot under the supervision of Marc Hindry.
I am interested in elliptic surfaces, or families of elliptic curves, and various related objects like root number and del Pezzo surfaces. A few years ago, I was more on the analytic side of number theory, but I seem to have moved to geometric tools. Whatever the technique, my passion lies in arithmetic.
This semester (Fall 2025), I am teaching Algebra I (Mat1100). My office hour is 11-noon on Thursdays or online by demand.
Next semester (Winter 2026), I will be teaching History of Mathematics (Mat387).
