This course examines how ecological processes impact upon the epidemiology of infectious diseases. This course was thought by a substitute professor when I took it, which changed the focus of the class from ecology to evolution.

BMB 401 and 402: Biochemistry

Principles of the structure and function of biological molecules, including carbohydrates, lipids, membranes, proteins, and enzymes. Comprehensive survey of the pathways and regulation of intermediary metabolism.

CHEM 213: Organic Chemistry Laboratory

Basic laboratory operations; synthesis and chemical or instrumental analysis. Requires completion of CHEM 210 and 212 (lecture components).

BMH 490: Bioethics and Medical Humanities Capstone Course

Students will integrate knowledge from their BMH minor through discussion and writing a paper on some aspect of medical humanities.

PHIL 418: Ethics

Examines ethical theories, justice, rights, community, and human values revolving around such issues as preservation, conservation, pollution, sustainability, and population.
