For this project, Antonio and I compared technology in China versus technology in the Philippines. We each had to research one country and find out about the technology usage and culture and digital divide. Then, we were to transfer our research from a word document to a PowerPoint.

The Global Project helped me taught me about collaborating with a partner virtually. We had to communicate through text and e-mail. Also, we had to share a PowerPoint so that we could both edit the information on the slides. Ultimately, this project showed me that you can collaborate without being in person.

An interesting fact that I learned from my research is e-waste. Prior to this project, I had not heard of e-waste. I learned that some of the things used in the making of technology devices that are harmful to the environment. It was interesting learning about the ways that they attempt to recycle and refurbish some of the materials.
