I started coaching in 2019 with one goal: offering the best health and wellness care - Focusing my education, experience, and expertise to help others live to their fullest potential.
I started my practice as a response to an ongoing problem in mental health: professionals and companies treating people as disposable cash cows. I started my practice to build a better business model focused on helping people grow!
I help get you from where you are to where you want to be through the practical application of various mental health, counseling, and coaching techniques!
Objectivity
A good coach provides a judgment-free, safe space, and an objective perspective. I don't assume or judge my clients on any basis. Objectivity allows me to look at a situation and offer straightforward and clear guidance and tools for success.
Expertise
Through extensive training and education, I've been able to provide the level of excellence I would expect. My job is to help guide you through obstacles and reach your goals. I aim to relate to you personally so we can trust, succeed, and achieve together.
Change
Change can be challenging and even downright scary. However, as we work together, you can expect to see results. It won't be immediate or overnight, but the more you put into your growth and development, the more success and positive results you'll see. What you put in is what you'll get out!
Support
One thing I uniquely offer is continuous support. I like to provide my clients with quality care to ensure they know they are on track with their progress. I occasionally check in on my clients, even if we no longer meet. This way, you know you have someone in your corner - you are never alone!
I know firsthand what "starting from the bottom" means; Being raised in poverty, abandoned and adopted at fifteen years old, I ventured into adulthood alone.
Following my childhood and humble beginnings, I became the first male in my family to graduate from high school, undergraduate studies, and graduate studies. I studied at CSU Stanislaus and received a B.A. in Psychology with a focus on Human Behavior and Behavior Analysis, as well as completed my Minor in Communications. I obtained my Masters in Social Work (MSW) from CSU Sacramento to focus on my clinical passion for supporting children and families experiencing abuse and neglect.
I have also spent time volunteering in Guatemala to work with people with disabilities; I've worked with adults and children with Autism, worked in a methadone clinic as a Substance Abuse Counselor, provided therapy and counseling at local mental health clinics for adults and children, supported individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in group homes as a Social Worker, managed teams of healthcare professionals, set new standards for business operations, supported children and families experiencing abuse and neglect in homes and schools, and started my practice in the Fall of 2019.
I believe in setting goals, reaching them healthily and constructively, and using the journey and experience to showcase life's endless possibilities - no matter where you start.
