Clinical & Professional BackgroundBorn in Kazakhstan and raised across the former USSR, I bring a culturally diverse understanding of health and human experience.I trained as a Registered Nurse in Germany and worked across multiple clinical specialties, including cardiac and eye surgery, rehabilitation, wound care, occupational therapy nursing, compression therapy, casting techniques, and enteral nutrition therapy.This medical background informs my somatic practice, particularly in understanding pain patterns, tissue recovery, movement restriction, and nervous system regulation.After moving to New Zealand, I transitioned toward a more holistic, body-centred approach to health. In 2019, I became a certified Ortho-Bionomy® practitioner with Ortho-Bionomy New Zealand (OBNZ) and the Society of Ortho-Bionomy International (SOBI).
Ortho-Bionomy® ApproachOrtho-Bionomy® is a gentle, non-invasive somatic therapy that works with the body’s self-correcting reflexes rather than applying force or correction.It supports the nervous system to reorganise through comfort, positioning, and awareness-based feedback, helping to reduce tension, improve mobility, and restore autonomic balance.

Qualifications & experience

Over 20 years of nursing experience in Germany
Registered Ortho-Bionomy® Advanced Practitioner (SOBI & OBNZ Inc.), specialising in somatic therapy for pain management, trauma integration, and nervous system regulation
Ongoing professional development in trauma-informed and somatic approaches with leading practitioners including Dan Siegel, Peter A. Levine, Frank Corrigan, Kathy L. Kain, Irene Lyon, Bruce C. Stark, and Luann Overmyer, with a focus on the body’s self-corrective processes and nervous system regulation
NZQA-assessed German nursing qualification (Level 6)
Additional training in office management (Chamber of Commerce), supporting structured, professional, and client-centred practice administration

WHAT TO EXPECT

Your first session:
a collaborative, somatic assessment space

Your first 60-minute Ortho-Bionomy® consultation is a calm, non-judgemental and collaborative space designed to support your greater body awareness.

Rather than placing the body into forced or painful positions, we gently observe your unique movement, posture, and tension patterns to understand how your system is organising itself.

The process supports your body’s natural self-correcting ability, allowing change to emerge without force or correction.

01 Full autonomy & safety

All Ortho-Bionomy® sessions are fully clothed, ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity throughout.

We work gently with your body’s natural patterns to support pain management and nervous system regulation—without force or manipulation.

There are no high-velocity adjustments, no forcing, and no “cracking”—only non-invasive somatic bodywork that supports your system’s self-correcting capacity.

02 Nervous-system co-regulation

We work with your protective bracing patterns rather than against them, helping your nervous system recognise safety and release chronic tension.

03 Integrated self-care

At the end of your session, you’ll receive simple, tailored self-care exercises to help integrate somatic changes into your daily routine.
