During my PhD, I contributed to various quantitative and analytical research projects as a research assistant. These experiences expanded my understanding of different fields of economics and enhanced my quantitative and research skills.

Wales Productivity Forum, The Productivity Institute

January 2025 - Current

• Contribute by supporting the Forum's activities and producing evidence for Wales on matters relating to Training & Skills and Health & Wellbeing.

Welsh Government, Equality, Poverty and Children Evidence Support Division

April 2024 - July 2024

• Contributed to a report containing evidence on the impact of childcare and childcare settings on children's socio-emotional outcomes using the Understanding Society study (forthcoming).

Skills Gap in UK Industries, Cardiff Business School

January 2024 - March 2024

• Welsh Government commission.

• Contributed to analysing and producing evidence with data from the Annual Survey of Hours and Earnings.

Disability Hiring Discrimination in the UK Labour Market, Cardiff Business School

October 2022 - July 2023

• Experimental and labour economics empirical project producing evidence of disability hiring discrimination in the UK.

• Contributed to the data collection.

• Project culminated in an academic paper and evidence taken to both the UK and Welsh Parliaments.
