I have been motivated and inspired by my dearest mother, mentors, and professors to become an ally and voice for every student. To me, everyone should be embraced in the STEM field regardless of their social identities. More generally, no one should be discouraged from pursuing their career goals because of their social identities. To address this, I have been passionate about promoting diversity and inclusion in my everyday community.
With deep gratitude, I was awarded multiple recognitions for my advocacy work.
