What plans do we have?

• Create a brand new car

• Model the new car completely in CAD

• Create a 1:1 model of the new car in cardboard

• Upgrade our older car with the newer Greenpower motor

• Race both cars at a Greenpower event

Why are we making a cardboard model?

By making a full scale model of our new car we will be able to identify issues with the design and be able to resolve them, so that when it comes to building the actual car, we shouldn't have any problems.

How does our new design compare to the old car?

The old car was much wider than most other Greenpower cars. This is because of the use of larger wheels. This year we will be experimenting with smaller wheels to find out what width and radius gives us the greatest advantage.
