This was an interesting project in which two people research another country outside of the U.S, gathering information about that region, like for example, demographics, access to technology, climate, ETC, after that we would combine this information of a powerpoint, making the information easily digestible was an important part of the project
I learn how to share document to other people so my teammate could help me build the PowerPoint, for some reason it was something that I really didn't know how to do and we struggle like half an hour trying to figure that out, but we learned!
Well something that surprised me was the language spoken proportions, while I knew that Spanish was the most spoken language, I didn't thought it would be a so vast majority, I thought that native languages would occupy a higher proportion, at least a 5% but not even that.
This project was very important to me because I feel like I learned a lot from it, I learned to use data basis, how to use to library resources, I also learned how to use charts in word and PowerPoint as well as how to work with other people in the same word document, this knowledge will help me in every aspect of my future not only in my education but in my professional life as well.
we took advantage of the day that the teacher wasn't here, and we met in the classroom to put the information on the PowerPoint, I manage to do a lot of the charts in the PowerPoint while my partner did a bit more of research of his part of the project, he also helped with the designed of the PowerPoint, I designed an outline of how the project would look from the beginning, I think we did a great job working together, the communication was good.Â
